Homemade Powdered Coffee Creamer Recipes: 13 Great Flavors! (1)

Few things beat a hot mug of coffee when it’s cold out. Learn to flavor your coffee with these 13 homemade powdered coffee creamer recipes!

I have to admit that during the cooler months, I like to sit at my kitchen window, sipping a cup of coffee, and watching the birds. This is the perfect time to try flavored creamers when I can savor the flavors instead of gulping them down in a hurry on my way to work.

Making Homemade Powdered Coffee Creamer

You can make dairy or non-dairy.

Dairy-based Powdered Milk

To make a dairy-based homemade powdered coffee creamer simply use powdered milk. We recommend powdered whole milkbut if you prefer non-fat powdered milk you can use that too. So use whichever you prefer in the recipes below.

Non-Dairy Powdered Milks

Although they are not technically milk. You can use them in place of milk powder. They can also add subtle flavor along with whatever spices and herbs you make yours with. A few good examples of non-dairy powdered milk are:

There are a host of other milk powders that work very well in hot coffee. However, if you are making coffee drinks on ice you need to take one more step.

To use your creamers in iced drinks, simply measure the amount you want to use and add a bit of hot water. Stir really well until it is all dissolved, then pour it into your iced coffee.

Firstly, to make the creamers your own, think about what you really like. For example, I love caramel apples, chocolate mints, and peanut butter cups. Above all, each of these can be made into creamers with a little imagination! Finally, my favorites are the first three recipes!

All of these will make about a pint of homemade powdered coffee creamer. So each recipe will make many cups of flavored coffee goodness. For a different twist, try them in hot chocolate or even with vodka as a mudslide type of martini drink.

Simply add these recipes to 2 cups of your preferred milk powder, mix well, and cap tightly.

Most people like about 3-4 teaspoons of powdered creamer in their coffee, but again, adjust it to your taste by using more or less.

These homemade powdered coffee creamer recipes aren’t just great for you to enjoy, they also make great gifts! What is your favorite flavor?
