553-3155 ROEDER MORTUARY 50th Ames Ave. 453-5600 Driver Sought In Lincoln Death WORLD HERALD BUREAU Lincoln The Lancaster County Sheriff's Department is looking for the driver of a vehicle suspected in the hitand-run death of John D. Lipsky, 21, of 4337-N. 61st St. in Lincoln.

A bicyclist found Lipsky's body Saturday evening in a ditch about 10 off North 84th Street between Fletcher and Havelock Avenues, authorities said. Sheriff Ron Tussing said evidence indicates that the car that hit Lipsky was "a black, or dark, vehicle. It probably has damage to the front end now." Witnesses told the sheriff's department that Lipsky had left Stan's Bar and Grill, 84th Street and Highway 6, at the 1 a.m. closing time. He apparently couldn't find a ride home and started walking south on 84th Street, Tussing said.

Authorities said they think Lipsky was hit sometime between 1:10 and 1:20 a.m. Lipsky, who was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and denim jeans, suffered head and neck injuries, Tussing said. The bicyclist reported seeing the body about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, but authorities had trouble finding it because it was partly obscured by weeds. Authorities then returned with the bicyclist and located the body about 8 p.m.

Nebraska Road Victims Include Bicycle Rider The Associated Press A child riding a bicycle was among three people who died on Nebraska roads over the weekend, authorities said. Pawnee County authorities said 6- year-old Kara Sejkora of Burchard, was killed when she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle 1.5 miles south of Burchard on Nebraska Highway 99 at 3:40 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said Patrick A. Harlow, 24, of Waterloo, was killed when the car he was driving apparently went out of control, left a county road northwest of Yutan and struck an embankment about 8:56 p.m.

Saturday. Red Willow County authorities also said one person was killed in an accident at 1:49 a.m. Sunday on a county road six miles west of McCook. No other details were i immediately available on that accident. Shooting Victim, 24, In Serious Condition A 24-year-old Omaha man was listed in serious condition at Immanuei Hospital Monday after he was shot in the arm, police said.

Craig J. Andrews, of 5104 N. Third told police he and a companion were leaving 3's Lounge Package, 8919 N. 30th about 1:45 a.m. Sunday when a man approached him and said, "You're dead, punk." The man then shot Andrews in the arm with what appeared to be a homemade gun, Andrews said.

The assailant was described as white, 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, with black curly hair. He reportedly drove away in a light green and white 1971 Ford pickup truck.
