He was born in Hadley, graduated from Hopkins Academy, and was a communicant of Most Holy Redeemer Church. He leaves two sisters. He was an Army and Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He leaves his wife. the former Josephine C. Fravesi; a son. Richard of Lincoln, a daughter, Donna Shepard of Wales; a stepson, Andrew Canevari of Springfield; two stepdaughters, Virginia Pallotta of Agawam and Jacquelyn Duda of Northampton; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Marion M. Tranghese WILBRAHAM Marion M. (Giannini) Tranghese, 71, of 140 Main died Saturday at a local nursing home. She and her husband, Sebastian A. Tranghese owned and operated the Mall Florist at Eastfield Mall for 25 years.

She worked previously in the office of the Supermarket in Springfield for 17 years. She was born in Springfield, graduated from the former School of Commerce in 1948, and was communicant of St. Cecilia's Church. Her husband died in 1997. She leaves a brother.

He was born in Springfield, and was a longtime resident of Feeding Hills before moving to Berwick on retirement. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of Grey Ghost Association. Patrick's Church. An Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, he was a sergeant glider mechanic in the 303rd Troop Carrier Squadron of the 442nd Troop Carrier Group. He served in the Normandy, Northern and Southern France, Rhineland, Germany and Central Europe campaigns in 1944-45. He received the Distinguished Unit Badge, the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon and a Victory Medal. He leaves his wife, the former Alice M.

He was a Navy veteran. He was active with the Therapeutic Equestrian Center, was a former member of the William Whiting Masonic Lodge in Holyoke, and was a volunteer at Jericho House in Holyoke. He leaves friends, including the Raucher family of Easthampton.
